Desire to Inspire by Christine Mason Miller
"Where do I begin? I compare working with Penelope to something along the lines of Christmas morning. Somehow the gifts she provides in the form of her impeccable art are not only exactly what you wanted, but above and beyond, and somehow even more articulated than you could have hoped for or had the capacity to imagine. She works fast & is always clear on deliverables. She elevates the creative by leaps and bounds. If it sounds like I am gushing…GOOD."
Associate Creative Director Kansas City, MO
"Working with Penny is always a pleasure. She is particularly adept at conveying conceptual ideas in accessible, understandable, and very charming ways. Our team often has a hard time selecting a direction for the art after her sketches, because her ideas are all so well-developed and engaging. She is a dream to collaborate with for cover art, because she works well within the limitations that a logo and cover lines impose. It's probably not a coincidence that her covers are usually our best-selling issues of the year."
Creative Director, Spirituality & Health Magazine
"When you work with Penny, you learn to be earnestly open to all possibilities, then delighted and confident in your eventual choices. Penny proceeds through life fully engaged, and in the end, demonstrates not just an artist’s touch, but a thoughtful and practical appreciation of the overall communication. Her work is both artful and wise. After you work with Penny, you feel lucky you got the chance to."
Creative Director, Young & Laramore Advertising
"Penelope’s work often catches my attention in the annuals, so I’m grateful when I have an opportunity to work with her. In addition to creating beautiful images that work well with my editorial projects, she is gracious and flexible and I really enjoy the process of working through concepts with her to come up with the best possible solution."
