Today I kind of let the gray take over. I'm not happy to admit this, but aside from some small moments of relief (yoga, a brief appearance of sun this afternoon, a trip to the library) I just soaked in it. Had a hard time pulling out of it. So yeah, on Day 2 of this challenge, I still didn't feel like giving. (I hope that changes as we proceed.) So my gift was a simple phone call to my dad, who lives in South Carolina. I miss him a lot and think about him often, but I am bad at picking up the phone and actually calling. So I had ten quiet minutes in the car as I was driving to class today and I dialed my dad. Luckily he picked up and we had a nice little chat and caught up. Reading your comments and stories from Day 1 has cheered me up a bit, too. So thank you for those. Let's see what Day 3 brings.
