Once again I'm super busy with work (artwork, yoga and thai!) and whatnot (whatnot mainly being a 2 year old red head)... so a short and simple list of good things: Starting my mother's day weekend off with a thai foot massage workshop. Oh yeah, baby! Super awesome. This a pic of some of the good props we used: a thai stick, some sugar scrub, flowers from blooming trees, yellow oil and some patchouli citrus lotion. Having your feet washed and massaged by a thai bodyworker is such a gift.
The circle of footsies. Connecting with like-minded ladies. And feeling support in learning this new thing... thai massage!
This little girl who's rocking my world lately. I feel like we've hit some kind of really cool groove in our mama/daughter relationship. Our days feel easy and have such a cool rhythm. I've let go of mimic-mothering and have been doing my own thing and following my instincts and it seems to make life easier.
Spending mother's day weekend with "the blondies"... my beautiful mother-in-law and sister-in-law. They are so fun and make me laugh constantly. And I gifted each of them with foot massages so they would owe me (ha ha!) and babysit for Veda again real soon! :)
Saying yes to putting everything aside and going out for the first canoe ride of the year. The weather was WARM and beautiful today (felt like summer!) and everything felt so easy and laid back. I heart heart heart that summer feeling.
A couple of things I have no pics for:
- Our open house is this coming Saturday. I am going to scrub this place so it shines! I really want an offer! So please send prayers, vibes, happy thoughts, blessings, abundance dances... whatever you've got! We'll take it! C'mon buyer!
- Getting lots of calls for work lately. I've been feeling more creative and artistically alive for the past 2 weeks than I have in the past few years. (Dare I say... it's back?!) I missed this amazing open feeling. It feels possible for something to come from nothing, if that makes sense.
- My dad graduated from school a few days ago. Go dad! I'm so proud of you!
- Looking forward to road tripping to Raleigh soon to start scouting. Our first real road trip as a family. Um... yeah (yikes?)!
