Black and Orange Halloween Contest!

blackandorange.jpg For this year's Halloween Contest I thought about how to get the creativity flowing... how to get lots of participants so the end result is a stunning display of all kinds of work... And here is the result:

The Black and Orange Halloween Contest!

The contest is open to any kind of art your heart desires: illustration (of course), fine art, photography, design and even crafts! The only criteria is that you have to work with Black and Orange as your primary palette. So, paint an abstract with black and orange... design a new typeface with black and orange... or knit a black and orange hat. The possibilities are limited only to your imagination. (You can use other colors if you need to, but your primary palette must be black and orange.)

All submissions for The Black and Orange Halloween Contest are due on October 31st. And judging will take place after that.

Please meet our judges: Stephen Whetstine, Von Glitschka, Christine Miller, and Maria Vettese (Mav of Port2Port)... They have a variety of different backgrounds and all have a keen eye for good work, so they will be watching the contest closely for their favorites.

For guidelines and participation details, click here. If you have other questions, please post them in the comments... I will address them there. :)

So, let the The Black and Orange Halloween Contest begin! I hope you will enjoy it!
