experiments with nature + pattern

I love discovering things on my walks. It's a huge source of inspiration for me... finding teeny flowers or berries or the last clover of the season. It's an exercise in slowing down and noticing. You have to be open and awake to ideas.

And so I've been gathering up little bits of this and that and taking them home to the studio to see how they look paired up with simple, drawn patterns. I'm loving the results and thought I'd share them here. :)
