This was for their Designer series. It was a great project where I got to do anything I wanted, which is sometimes very fun! They interviewed me as well. Here's what they said:

"The crisp white of fine bone china and the contemporary coupe shape of Martin Hunt's teacup design is the perfect canvas for these exclusive designs created by some of today's most noted artists and designers. Each cup and saucer set, stamped with the artist's signature and the year 2014, is packaged in a round cardboard box printed with coordinating artwork, making it the perfect gift for Mother's Day or other special occasion.

Illustrator Penelope Dullaghan is passionate about maintaining balance and harmony in both her life and her art. Working primarily in acrylic, ink and digital design, the Indianapolis-based artist explores fluid, simple shapes rendered in an energetic palette. Her interpretation of the Bennett teacup was inspired by her newfound hobby of gardening. To Dullaghan, the garden is a place of quiet and peace. "It provides the perfect opportunity to slow down and observe.""
