Hello there! I'm happy to share a new project - this time for Reader's Digest! This was for a story about little Elin, a tiny baby who was abused and neglected by her biological family before she was put into foster care. Her foster mother had a rough road of learning to care for Elin... For a long time Elin didn't make a peep or even look at anyone. It was as if she was deep, deep inside herself. And then slowly over time she emerged through the kindness and love and healing power of skin-to-skin contact with her loving new mother. She is now a vibrant and healthy child with a family who loves her. Here is the opener:
