Make a lumpy, bumpy, cardboard crocodile!

Let’s play! To celebrate the launch of my new book, “Crocodiles Need Kisses Too,” let’s make a lumpy, bumpy crocodile of our own to play with! Ask an adult to download the template below, print it out and follow the instructions with you!

Print out the template above and cut it out. Place the paper over cardboard and use scissors to cut out each piece. (An adult may need to do this for you.) Make sure to cut on the dotted line as well so your crocodile can have legs.

I used paint to make my crocodile green, but you could use crayons or colored pencils or even cover it with stickers or colored paper! Use your imagination!

My crocodile is grinning. What expression will your crocodile have?

Time to play! You can cut out a second crocodile so they can give crocodile kisses, because crocodiles need kisses, too!

Or make a habitat for your crocodile. I used a the rest of my cardboard box to make my crocodile’s world. There are tall grasses and flowers. Where does your crocodile live?
