Speaking of Faith

Maybe some of you have listened to this program before, but I just discovered Speaking of Faith late last year when I was driving home from a yoga weekend. I absolutely love it and am totally hooked on the podcasts. Speaking of Faith is public radio's conversation about religion, meaning, ethics, and ideas. It's hosted by Krista Tippett (who always seems to say her name with a smile... Colin and I walk around the house saying "I'm Krista Tippett", trying without success, to sound like her). Her voice is just lovely. She intelligently interviews so many interesting people (from yogis to monks to quantum physicists) with varying perspectives and views of religion, spirituality, science and life. They are really candid conversations and are always thought provoking for me. (They spark awesome conversations with friends, too.)

I especially perk up when the conversation is about parenting or the spirituality and inner lives of children. How to nurture these little souls and be present for that aspect of their being. Here is one about the Spirituality of Parenting. And another about play. Maybe you'll love them as much as I do. They've certainly given me lots to think about...

Happy weekend, all!

p.s. I'm glad you all liked the art on the earth day post. I might try to make a variation on that as a print... hmm...
