Veda, 8 months old

Veda is 8 months old. Time has flown by and I can't believe I'm looking at such a big girl already. She's all smiles usually. As happy as can be. And we are having so much fun. We love exploring the world together... picking apples, walking through the woods, hearing sounds, reading books, singing songs. I love it. I remember how hard the new-born months were. I didn't think I'd survive. And I didn't handle it with much grace or dignity or ease. I wish I would have known then how temporary those hard months were. How quickly they'd be nothing more than memories. 8 months later, I can say... Life. Is. Good. Motherhood is beautiful.
